Meet the dedicated staff of My Sisters' Place.
Diane Paige’Blondet, Executive Director/CEO
Came to the agency in 2000 with over 20 years experience in the human service field. Diane is responsible for direction and day-to-day management of the organization. She has held the position of Executive Director with My Sisters’ Place since 2003. Diane served at a variety of nonprofit organizations in senior management prior to joining MSP. She is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo, Syracuse University graduate school (MS) and Dowling College School of Business (MBA).
Kathleen Shaw, Vice President for Program and Operations
Joined My Sisters’ Place in 2004 with extensive experience in the human service field. She is the former Executive Director of Trust House, a family learning center in Hartford. She was also previously Regional Director for Lutheran Social Services where she oversaw refugee & immigrant programs as well as adoption programs, and a variety of other community services for both Massachusetts and Connecticut. Kathy is A graduate of Bentley College.
Robert Dunbar, Vice President for Development
Prior to joining the agency in 2010 served as President & CEO of Alcoprint, LLC. Bob has held management positions at several corporations as well as serving on numerous Boards. Bob is a graduate of Georgetown University.
Rosemary Flowers, L.C.S.W, Director of Program Services
Joined MSP in 2002. Ms. Flowers has a strong background in case management, with over five years of experience working directly with adolescents and adults. In her position she directs the activities of staff in provision of case management services to the residents in our facilities and directs staff in provision of service to clients who reside in scattered site housing throughout the Greater Hartford area. Ms. Flowers has a B.S.W. from Central Connecticut State University and an. M.S.W from University of Connecticut, School of Social Work.
Valerie Archer, Assistant Program Director
Has been with My Sisters’ Place for four years. She has extensive experience working in child welfare programs in Missouri and Oklahoma. Her responsibilities include oversight of the Transitional Living Program. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri with a B.A. in Social Work.
Ann Viner, Assistant Program Director
For the Housing Programs of MSP. She came to MSP in 2002 and assumed her current position in 2004. She has 15 years of experience working in the mental health field in both hospital settings and social service agencies. Ann has a B.A. degree in Psychology from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City.
